The IRF2804 Power MOSFET utilizes the latest processing techniques to achieve extremely low resistance per silicon area. Additional features of this design include a 175°C junction operating temperature, fast switching speed, and improved repetitive avalanche rating. These features combine to make this design an extremely efficient and reliable device for use in a wide variety of other applications.
The TO-220 package is universally preferred for all commercial-industrial applications at power dissipation levels of approximately 50 watts. The low thermal resistance and low package cost of the TO-220 contribute to its wide acceptance throughout the industry.
