The DX-SMART DX-LR02 is a LoRa module kit designed for long-distance, low-power data communication via UART serial interface. It provides transparent data transmission, allowing serial data to be sent over a LoRa connection to a receiving device.
In open-field tests with a drone, the DX-LR02 achieved a communication distance of up to 5-8 km. Actual range depends on environmental and operating conditions.

Applications
The DX-LR02 is suitable for long-distance serial data transmission in homes, buildings, indoor and outdoor areas, farms, pastures, agricultural fields, and industrial sites. When combined with an Arduino/MCU, Raspberry Pi, or ESP32, it can be used in remote motor control, sensor data transmission, data acquisition systems, automation projects, and DIY/IoT solutions.
Important Note
The DX-LR02 supports standard UART serial communication only and does not support LoRaWAN or Meshtastic. For LoRaWAN or Meshtastic functionality, consider the DX-LR30 or DX-LR02-900T22DN series from DX-SMART. DX-SMART also provides OEM/ODM services and technical support for product selection and integration.
